I've been writing and recording music for many years. I've had those opportunity at several big name studios and a ton of ''I'm underfunded and just need to get by.'' Incredibly creative and safe environment. It's so nice working with an great engineer without an ego. Kevin never wants to stand in the way of your creativity. He has become my friend through the process of two albums and several small projects. Adjustments to songs for future requirements are very fast. His competency makes him cheaper to work with. The tracks are almost mixed as you go. I was able to record Live drums and bass simultaneously on my band album. I would recommend this studio to anyone for any recording need. He just moved to a bigger space that takes this studio to a whole new level.

I’m a guitarist in Nashville and was doing some studio guitar tracks for a friend of mine recently. He was recording at Hidden Creek. The studio is for those looking to escape the hustle and the rigidity that often accompanies the fast-paced music scene in the city. Hidden Creek is only about a 20 minute drive from downtown, yet is tucked away in a serene forest setting. It’s easily the most relaxed I’ve felt in a studio, and I could tell I would love this place as soon as I walked through the door—a sentiment doubly felt after speaking with Kevin Grenier, the engineer and owner of the studio. Kevin is wicked easy to work with and is incredibly reasonable with pricing, especially for the high-caliber work he does. He uses ProTools and high-end equipment such as Neumann mics. The studio is a live-room layout with a drum set, and also has an isolation booth that kicks butt. Plus snacks, comfy couches, and a really cool vibe. I would recommend Hidden Creek to anybody looking for a relaxing, affordable studio close to Nashville without compromising quality.
